I know that people are angry that the game hasn't started. I'm angry too. Speaker Madigan needs to stop acting like a right-wing Republican and pass legislation authorizing the first pitch; but any bill also authorizing a second pitch will be dead on arrival, and I won't sign any bill that doesn't address the seventh inning stretch.
  • Southern Right · 2 years ago
Alright folks there are six outs in each inning. I don't think three for each team is addressing our biggest need. So, I'm reallocating the outs in a much more fair manner. From now on the Cubs get 4 outs and who ever they are playing gets two outs. Case Closed.

Well gov. how is the budget going?

I'am working hard for the people of Illinois. I have this vision, and Emil and I have this plan to fund it.

What are you going to sell now Gov? The Cubs?

No No, I wasn't sure we owned the Cubs, but we have a RFP out there. No we were thinking of selling everything south of I-80 to fund my VISION.

Gov. why and the he!! would you do that?

Well the VISION is to insure all Illinois, and since most of Illinois population is north of I-80 my crack staff thought it was such a good idea, they went on vacation.

Well Gov. I think your out to lunch, lets go to a break so I can @##!!!! this #&@$%#^$.

And as Governor of this state, it is within my powers to take my magic pen to the official scorecard. Emil, can you hand me my magic pen. I'll just take runs from the Cardinals and give them to the Cubs so the CUBS WIN!
  • Concerned Voter · 2 years ago
Wow, the crowd is a little light today Chip and Steve. Since we didn't pass a budget, I guess those CTA budget cuts affected some people getting to the park today? Oh, and others were to afraid to drive on some of the roads and bridges because we didn't come up with a capital improvement program?

Hey, what happened to the electricity? Oh, the cubs couldn't afford that last electric bill.

That's okay, I'll buy everyone a round from my new pay raise. What how much for that beer? It went up because the distributors passed there new GRT taxes on to the consumers by raising prices!?

    Holy Cow!
