I know some people have a hard time understanding why a private individual would put up a site that didn't seek to make a buck, but that was the norm many years ago.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This site has ads, therefore it does make a buck.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Since you are making a buck, the photo's owner wants to be paid before you use his photo in your profit-making venture.
