Yep, I have to take furlough days, but at least I didn't get my lay off papers. I wonder if the hundreds of corrections people would trade their lay off for a furlough option?

AFSCME looking to support/endorse 3rd party candidates or independents, and NO FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO the Dems and Repubs. Quinn has betrayed us along with Fritchey and countless others voting NO on any tax increase to sustain decent state government.

By the way, after my stay at the Bel-Aire, I rented a room at the Cordova, 5th and South Grand (I believe the building is still standing, but long boarded up).

Close to the Dome, $150 a month and the cuckarachas were free and plentiful.

I decided to relax and take some time off too. I pulled up the laptop and took a gander and saw Obamarama's request for a song. I've been working on my tan and drinking some High Life or PBR as the VanillaTwins splash in the pool and scream with delight. The rest of the VanillaBrood are having a great time too. I have to be careful, and avoid getting any sand in the laptop, or drip sweat, beer or condensation into the keyboard.

Bill, I noticed that Rich/VM were both gone, too. I thought tmaybe they went on vay-cay together.

word, I had a similar problem the very first time I booked a hotel "as an adult" to start my first State gig. Well, of course I picked the place my parents always took me for fancy dinners when we visited here when I was a kid. Yeah, the St. Nick. The hot & cold running hookers were almost as charming as the guy a couple floors up who peed out his window like clockwork every two hours.

He is saving that $$$ for infrastructure needs for the Olympics. Fran Spielman of the Sun Times has done a number of stories on this that I have thrown in MS when Rich was here. But maybe

Mike Daley promised no tax money would be used for the Olympics. Either Daley doesnt know what the T in TIF is for or you may be calling him a liar.
