Why don't they just send out a mailer to all the registered Republicans and tell them why they should support MsSweeney. That, after all, is the real intention for this piece of junk mail.
They don't have to talk down or scare their base. Using this approach is insulting.
Voters want secure borders, meaning physical barriers and troops. Bean want secure borders but not offend anyone - which means no secure borders. She is wrong on this issue, and McSweeney and the majority of voters are right.
