I am a "Hard R" and will be voting for Davlin. Also, there may be a lot of new people out voting this time who are fed up by the clowns in the City Counsel.  A percentage of those people will try and wipe the slate clean by voting gainst the incumbent aldermen and also against Mayor Daley.&lt;br&gt;Some of the unions are not thrilled with Daley, which will hurt.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Still, Daley takes 62%.  A lot of people view things as I do: We may not like our own alderman, but we generally like the direction that Daley is taking the city and don't see any reason to make a change in the big office.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If it is under 60% expect 10 incumbent aldermen to lose also.
