Considering over 1300 people a year die in Illinois from power plant pollution alone, that's worth some applause. He is an extremely talented politician and is such a gifted fundraiser he could probably raise campaign cash in a third world country.  He is also pretty good one on one or in a meet in greet situation.  All in all, the guy gets an A+ for politics and a D- for governance.
