"Suggested Contribution per Person = $1000"

I guess Pat Hasn't learned that the suggested contribution for Governors is always $25,000.

Quinn really has more of a legislative personality than an executive branch one -- expressing public policy announcements and then moving on to the next one, without micromanaging implementation. He really should run for the Senate in 2010. But he won't...

Quinn should keep his current job and run for Governor. If he runs for Senate in 2010 he will get buried. He cant raise soft money how is he going to raise hard money?

I have to say that I'm a bit surprised by this. So, he has this debt for years and doesn't pay it off. Now he's Governor and he knows that people will pony up cash for a chance to speak with him.

How can you call him the reform guy if he pulls things like this?

    Not smart.

I too am surprised about this....I guess its honorable he wants to pay 13-year-old debts. But it certainly raises eyebrows....

how can you blame him? it's allowed and people want to meet and support him. madigan could consider paying off his debt from the democratic party coffers and stop some of this.

interesting that the form does not ask if the contributor has a state contract or is an appointee or seeking an appointment.
