Very interesting. I was able to access SJ-R.com last night but cannot this morning. On the front page of this morning's edition they say the problem is fixed. Apparently not.

I'm able to reach it now, you're gonna have to clear the bogus ip address associated with www.sj-r.com on your end.

The SJ-R's new ownership is dumbing down its internet page to be identical with Rockford and Peoria. All the future video will be on YouTube so the State Employee's wont be able to view it! Good Job Gatehouse.

On a different note, since the Rezko trial will be winding down, you should start a What-If pool regarding Rezko's fate.
ie; Walks away a free man, community service for one month, gets nervous and spills the beans on Blago, leaves the country via PalWaukee Airport, etc.

I've had no problem accessing the SJ-R since about 11:00 pm last night. It was down for a long time before that though.

I called SJ-R main switchboard this morning; I was told that www.sj-r.com would be down until later this afternoon.

what do we have to do to change the ip address to the correct one?

It is a DNS issue (looks like they moved sj-r.com to their corp office from network solutions according to whois ) that appears to be fixed for most ISP's but not all yet, that's why some people can get on and some can't.

I use OpenDNS at home and their site has been working for me since early yesterday morning. They (OpenDNS) update their DNS cache frequently so the change was noticed almost immediately when it happened. Easy to setup and instructions are on the site, if you are in need of a fix.

Maybe they are trying to block Rich because he is not in the legitimate media...and of course they wouldn't want readers of such a questionable media source visiting their web site.
